Upper Mattaponi Pow Wow - May 22, 09

I absolutley LOVED taking these pictures at the Upper Mattaponi Indian Tribe Pow Wow! It was also my 2nd graders Fiels Trip! I went along as a chaperone and got these amazing pictures of the grand entry and tribal dancing! The music was unbelievable! Check out the vibrant colors!

A windy cool afternoon on the River withmy friends the Baucom Family.  I snapped several pics of the kids fishing off the dock and just enjoying the evening with their parents and the family dog, Slider. The natural light, wind in their hair and the setting sun made for a great photo session.
